Kamloops real estate market overcame typical August-to-September dip
KAMLOOPS — The annual dip in Kamloops real estate sales from August to September didn’t come this year, according to an industry body.
New numbers shared by the Association of Interior Realtors show 222 residential sales in the Kamloops area last month. That held steady from 220 sales in August.
The anomaly is revealed when comparing last month to September 2024, when Kamloops saw only 177 sales. The September 2025 total represents a 23.3 per cent increase.
“The Kamloops market is showing impressive resilience,” noted association president Kadin Rainville in a news release. “Not only are sales stronger than this time last year, but instead of the usual seasonal August-to-September dip, activity held flat. Staying near the long-term average in these conditions highlights the strength and confidence in the market.”
