KAMLOOPS — It was a short and sweet reign as Jeopardy! champion for a Kamloops man.
In his second episode of the long-running trivia show Wednesday (Oct. 1), Curtis Bogetti took home a $3,000 consolation prize as he finished in second place. Going into Final Jeopardy with $6,800, he wagered and lost $799 on a clue in the category, “Words from World War II.”
Bogetti finished behind the Oct. 1 winner Lisa Mueller, who won the episode with $17,600.
Bogetti, a PhD candidate, won $30,001 to become the Jeopardy! champion on Tuesday (Sept. 30).
