Emergency Closure

100 Mile House emergency department closed Wednesday afternoon

KAMLOOPS — Residents in the 100 Mile House area will be without their emergency room beginning Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 1).

Interior Health says the emergency department at 100 Mile House District General Hospital will close at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and reopen at 7:00 a.m. Thursday.

The health authority does not list a reason for the closure.

People who require emergency medical care in the area are advised to call 9-1-1 or visit the ER at Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake.

IH says all other in-patient services are continuing as scheduled.
