Salmon Arm RCMP searching for rightful owner of canoe, other lost items

SALMON ARM, B.C. — Salmon Arm RCMP are looking for the rightful owner of a lost canoe among other items.

Police say they recovered a canoe on Monday (Sept. 22). Anyone who has lost a canoe is asked to contact Salmon Arm RCMP with a detailed description, the contents of the canoe and the likely location of where it may have been found.

Elsewhere, on Sept. 9, Salmon Arm RCMP say the Walmart in the city turned over several items from their lost and found over the last year, including cell phones, a laptop and a family photo album.

Anyone who believes the items are theirs is asked to contact Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044 and provide a detailed description within 90 days.
