Major construction complete at Tank Hill site on Highway 1 east of Lytton

LYTTON, B.C. — Major construction at a stretch of the Trans Canada Highway between Lytton and Spences Bridge is complete.
As of Wednesday (Sept. 24), the B.C. government says Highway 1 at Tank Hill reopened to two lanes of traffic on the new overpass.
In a news release, the province says the third lane is scheduled to open in October once detour removal is complete. Additionally, site cleanup will continue until November.
Upgrades at Tank Hill include a new elevated bridge deck, restored grade separation and improved drainage.
