Small interface fire near Overlanders Bridge doused by Kamloops Fire Rescue

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue crews made short work of an interface fire that sparked along the Rivers Trail on Monday afternoon (Sept. 22).
Just before 1 p.m., motorists along the Overlanders Bridge got a good look at what started out as a small plume of smoke and quickly turned into visible flames.
The incident appears to have started in bushes near the Rivers Trail – next to the CP tracks that run alongside West Victoria Street.
