Elvis Stojko to make Salmon Arm stop during Stars on Ice tour in December

SALMON ARM, B.C. — Elvis Stojko will glide into Salmon Arm this winter as part of the Stars on Ice tour, and he’ll be bringing some friends with him.

The legendary Canadian figure skater is headlining the latest edition of the annual holiday show, which will make a stop at Rogers Rink on Saturday, Dec. 20.

The 53-year-old Stojko is a two-time Olympic Silver Medalist, three-time World Champion, and seven-time Canadian Champion. He headlined last year’s Stars on Ice tour when it made a stop at Sandman Centre in Kamloops.

Stojko will be joined by a number of Olympic, national and world champion figure skaters including Kaetlyn Osmond, Nam Nguyen, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Satoko Miyahara, Jeremy Abbott, Gracie Gold, Mirai Nagasu and Ryan Bradley.

“Together, this cast will deliver a show filled with seasonal spirit, dazzling costumes, and spectacular choreography,” a release from Stars on Ice said.
