Blazers release 19-year-old forward Kelly

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers confirmed on Friday [Sept. 19] they have released 19-year-old forward Josh Kelly.

Kelly, a 6-foot-2, 194-pound left shot from Port Moody, had six goals and 12 points in 38 games last season for the Blazers.

Kamloops is scheduled to open the 2025-2026 WHL campaign on Saturday, with the Spokane Chiefs coming to town for a 6 p.m. start at Sandman Centre.
