100 Mile House emergency department closed for most of Thursday

100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Emergency services in 100 Mile House will be unavailable for most of the day.

Interior Health says the 100 Mile District General Hospital emergency department will be temporarily closed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 18).

During the 13-hour closure, residents in 100 Mile House and area are asked to visit Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake if they need life-threatening emergency care.

This is the 18th temporary closure of the 100 Mile House emergency department in 2025.
