KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have released their promotional schedule for the first half of the 2025-26 WHL season, which gets underway this weekend.

The 32nd annual Teddy Bear Toss game is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, against the Penticton Vees, while the annual Feed the Valley Night game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 28, against the Spokane Chiefs.

The Blazers will also host Military Appreciation Night, featuring members of the Rocky Mountain Rangers, on Saturday, Nov. 8, against the Everett Silvertips.

“These nights bring together community spirit and great hockey, and are always among the most memorable games of the season,” the Blazers said, in a release.

The Blazers will be giving away texting gloves to fans at Sandman Centre on Saturday, Nov. 29, when the Vees play their first-ever game in Kamloops. They’ll also be giving away window scrapers on Saturday, Nov. 15, when the Lethbridge Hurricanes are in town.

Other popular events like ‘Bring a Buddy Night’ for season ticket holders, kids nights, as well as TRU Tuesday and Wolfpack Wednesday will also be returning.

The ever-popular skate with the Blazers event is also scheduled after the Remembrance Day game on Nov. 11. The Blazers will be hosting the Edmonton Oil Kings at 2:00 p.m. that Tuesday.

“Blazers hockey is back, and we’re kicking off the season with an exciting lineup of promotions, theme nights, and fan experiences that you won’t want to miss,” the team added. “From giveaways and family fun to discounted tickets and annual traditions, the first half of the home schedule is packed with something for every fan.”

The Blazers will begin the 2025-26 WHL season this Saturday (Sept. 20) against the Spokane Chiefs. Player introductions will take place at 6:00 p.m. sharp, and the first 1,500 fans in attendance will be given a Kamloops Blazers t-shirt.

Single-game tickets for all regular season games went on sale at 9:00 a.m. this morning, though the Blazers say people can still buy season tickets.
