RCMP looking for suspect vehicle that drove into Blind Bay home

BLIND BAY, B.C. — A vehicle drove into a house in the Shuswap late last week.
At around 9:56 p.m. Thursday (Sept. 11), Salmon Arm RCMP say a witness reported that a vehicle missed a corner and drove into the garage of a home on the 2500-block of Golf Course Drive in Blind Bay, then sped away.
In a news release issued Saturday, RCMP say they believe the suspect vehicle is a red Jeep. Police added there was significant damage to the garage door, which has since been repaired.
Anyone with further information or dashcam or security camera video in the Golf Course Drive area in Blind Bay is asked to contact Salmon Arm RCMP at 250-832-6044.
