No injuries reported after empty car train derailment west of Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — A train derailed near Tobiano early Friday (Sept. 12) morning.
In an email to CFJC Today Saturday afternoon, Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) confirmed 13 empty cars of one of its trains derailed nearly 15 kilometres west of Kamloops.
However, no injuries were reported, and no dangerous goods were involved. The rail line reopened later Friday morning.
CPKC says the cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
