THE TATTLE OF HASTINGS: Fred Fox carries on brother Terry’s legacy in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — The 45th annual Terry Fox Run is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Sunday (Sept. 14) in Kamloops.

Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. at the Riverside Park bandshell. There are one-, five- and 10-kilometre routes available for runners and walkers.

Donations for the Kamloops Terry Fox Run are being accepted online.

Each year, Fred Fox visits about 130 schools across the country to educate students on the 1980 Marathon of Hope, carry on his younger brother’s legacy and raise money for the fight against cancer.
