KAMLOOPS — The water parks in the City of Kamloops will be open for another week, even though temperatures have returned to seasonal levels.

In a brief social media post, the city announced that all water parks will close for the 2025 season this Sunday (Sept. 14).

“Enjoy the extra splash time and soak up the last days of summer fun,” the post said.

There are four water parks in Kamloops – Albert McGowan Park, McDonald Park, Riverside Park, and Westsyde Centennial Park – as well as a wading pool at Prince Charles Park.
