LANGFORD, B.C. — It was another night to forget for the Kamloops Broncos in the BC Football Conference as they were blown out by the Westshore Rebels.

The Broncos fell 72-0 Saturday (Sept. 6) night as they gave up 63 first half points to the league’s second best team this season. The Rebels scored 21 points in the first quarter and doubled that in the second quarter.

They added another nine points in the third quarter at Starlight Stadium to improve to 6-1. The Broncos, who were shutout for the first time this season, dropped to 0-7 and they remain in the basement of the league standings with three games left to play.

The Broncos are off this weekend as they prepare to host the 2-4 Valley Huskers on September 20. It’s a 6:00 p.m. kickoff from Hillside Stadium.
