Campus abuzz for annual TRU Students’ Union Back-To-School Barbecue

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Rivers University Students’ Union held its annual back-to-school barbecue on Friday (Sept. 5) afternoon and the campus commons area was buzzing.

Burgers and hot dogs were served at the outdoor resource fair, which featured more than 120 booths and live music.

As CFJC Today reports, the barbecue gives students a chance to connect ahead of a new school year — and eat for free.
