Blazers sign highly touted American forward J.P. Hurlbert
KAMLOOPS β The Kamloops Blazers have added some high octane offence to their attack for the upcoming season.
The team announced Tuesday (Aug. 26) it has signed American forward JP Hurlbert, who will be at training camp and is expected to spend the season with the team.
The 2008-born Hurlbert is a highly touted prospect projected to be drafted in the late first round in the 2026 NHL entry draft.
He spent the 2024-25 season with the U.S. National Team Development Program, racking up 31 points in just 34 games.
