Merritt Chamber of Commerce signs partnership agreement with Kamloops Chamber

MERRITT — The Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce has signed an agreement with the Kamloops and District Chamber of Commerce to help it manage day-to-day operations.

The Board of Directors at the Merritt Chamber say the new agreement will strengthen the operations, impact, and events its able to organize as it will leverage the resources and expertise of the Kamloops team.

“This agreement ensures that the Merritt and District Chamber of Commerce can continue to grow and thrive with the support of an experienced team,” Una Kuzio, a Board Director on the Merritt Chamber said.

“We’re focused on delivering value to our members and driving economic success for Merritt and the Nicola Valley.”

Acacia Pangilinan, the Executive Director of the Kamloops and District Chamber of Commerce, said the agreement with Merritt will help make it easier to advocate for the business community in the entire region.

“By working together, we can amplify local voices, enhance networking opportunities, and support economic development in the region,” she added.

Joining Kuzio on the current board of the Merritt Chamber of Commerce is Devin Jollimore, Junaid Din, Max Patel, and Colleen Marks.

“These dedicated professionals bring experience and local knowledge, and together they will work to advance the interests of the Merritt and Nicola Valley business community,” the Merritt Chamber statement added.

Earlier this month, the Merritt Chamber of Commerce hosted a business mixer at the Q101 studios, with the next one set for September at the Merritt Chapel
