KAMLOOPS — Customers are airing grievances in the aftermath of a labour dispute between Air Canada and its flight attendants.

Carmela Corkle of Kamloops and her vacationing family were stranded in Rome, Italy this past weekend, after their flight out of Europe was cancelled less than 24 hours before it was scheduled to take off.

She said the family paid about $9,000 to get home using an alternative airline and has not been able to reach Air Canada to discuss reimbursement.
