Kamloopsian Norah Bell makes NCAA debut for Arizona State University
TEMPE, ARIZONA — Kamloops native Norah Bell has made her NCAA Division 1 debut for the Arizona State University (ASU) women’s soccer team.
The 18-year-old Kamloopsian was on the pitch for 46 minutes last Thursday (Aug. 14) as the Sun Devils began the season with a 2-0 win over the University of Nevada.
Bell’s path to the Sun Devils began at the Kamloops Youth Soccer Association and included stints with Thompson Okanagan FC in the BC Soccer Premier League as well as with Kamloops United FC (formerly Rivers FC) in League1 BC.
She was also part of the Vancouver Whitecaps Girls Elite Academy program and committed to ASU last season.
