Downtown Kamloops Christmas Market slated for end of November

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops will get a head start on holiday cheer at the end of November.
The inaugural Kamloops Christmas Market will take place at the Heritage House parking lot at Riverside Park from Nov. 21 to 30. The market is being hosted by the Kamloops Sports Council, in partnership with the City of Kamloops, Tourism Kamloops and the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association.
In a news release issued Tuesday (Aug. 5), the city says the outdoor market will be European-inspired and feature artisanal gifts, craft breweries, handmade goods, live entertainment, local food and wine vendors.
The Kamloops Christmas Market will run from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Fridays and 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
