Five charged after months-long Kamloops RCMP drug investigation
KAMLOOPS — RCMP say five Kamloops residents are facing dozens of charges as the result of a lengthy drug and weapons investigation.
In a news release issued Thursday (July 31), Superintendent Jeff Pelley says the following five people are expected to appear before a provincial court judge on August 25, facing a total of 45 charges:
- Justin Robert Ferrier (13 charges)
- Ashley Rose Robinson (12 charges, jointly charged with Ferrier)
- Kristy Elizabeth Johnson (12 charges)
- Justin Anthony Coughlan St. Arnault (5 charges)
- Yasmine Alyssia Parra (3 charges, jointly charged with St. Arnault)
The Kamloops detachment’s Targeted Enforcement Unit (TEU) launched a drug trafficking investigation in September 2023, called ‘Project EPARALYSIS’, focusing on drug dealing through local motels and homes. The operation culminated in April 2024 with raids of the Scott’s Inn Motel in downtown Kamloops and a home on Dallas Drive.
