Tyrelle Chadwick signs with Colorado Rockies organization
KAMLOOPS — Tyrelle Chadwick has signed with the Colorado Rockies.
The 6-foot-4, 220-pound right-handed pitcher put pen to paper on a contract with a US $125,000 signing bonus on July 22.
Chadwick was drafted by the Rockies in the 18th round, 527th overall and he’s been assigned to the Arizona Complex League (ACL) Rockies in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The former Kamloops NorthPaw played three seasons with the Illinois State Redbirds, and will forego his final season of college baseball.
