Performers and spectators brave the rain at Kamloops Buskers Fest
KAMLOOPS — The show must go on, and a little rain on Friday (July 25) hasn’t dampened the spirits of the performers or spectators at the Kamloops International Buskers Fest.
It’s the sixth year the event has taken over Riverside Park, with performers from around the globe descending into Kamloops for four days of unicycle riding, sword swallowing, juggling and everything in between.
“The weather has been a little bit of a damper [Friday], but hopefully this evening, tomorrow and Sunday the weather is better and we still have our six international performers who are finding a way to put shows on even with the rain,” said Event Coordinator Lucas Sweet. “There is a lot to enjoy and the small crowd that showed up today had a great time and a lot of laughs all around.”
