Kamloops RCMP looking for chainsaw thief
KAMLOOPS — Police in Kamloops are looking for help in identifying a man who walked out the Home Depot without paying for a chainsaw.
In a news release, police say they were called to the 1000 block of Hillside Drive around 2:20 p.m last Thursday (July 17) afternoon. They say the man took off with a Ryobi chainsaw valued at approximately $700.
“As part of the investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and are releasing it to the public in hopes that someone can make an identification,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier said.
“If you have seen the suspect, the stolen item or have information related to this investigation, please contact police.”
