Broncos fall to Raiders in 2025 home and season opener

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Broncos opened the 2025 BC Football Conference season with defeat at home.
The Broncos fell 50-7 to the Vancouver Islanders Raiders from Nanaimo Saturday (July 19) at Hillside Stadium. They trailed 13-7 at the half before the Raiders pulled away for the win.
Kamloops dropped to 0-1 and will look for their first win of the season next Saturday (July 26) when they host the Prince George Kodiaks. Kickoff from Hillside Stadium is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
The Kodiaks are also 0-1 after they were beaten 33-13 by the Westshore Rebels in their home opener Saturday.
