LILLOOET, B.C. — The remains of a cliff diver who has been missing since the end of June have been found in Seton Lake.

On June 29, Lillooet RCMP responded to the report of a man who had jumped off a cliff into Seton Lake and had not resurfaced.

In an update issued Monday (July 14), the Lillooet detachment says the RCMP National Underwater Recovery carried out a search on July 7 and recovered the missing man. The BC Coroners Service confirmed his identity, and believe his death is not believed to be suspicious.

An extensive search for the missing man was previously conducted by Lillooet RCMP, the BC RCMP Underwater Recovery Team and Lillooet and District Rescue Society.
