Missing TRU student recovered from Thompson River

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops RCMP have confirmed that they have recovered the body of the missing TRU student who was last seen entering the Thompson River on July 6.
“A man who was last seen being pulled by the river current, has sadly been found and confirmed deceased following the recent recovery of his body in the Thompson River,” reads the release from the Mounties.
Search and Rescue, the RCMP Under Recovery Water Team, Kamloops RCMP Marine operators and RCMP Air Services had all been out searching for the TRU student.
