KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws were swept by the Bellingham Bells at home over the weekend.

Following losses of 14-12 and 11-6, the NorthPaws dropped the third and final game of their series with the Bells at Norbrock Stadium Sunday (July 13) 8-2.

Overall, the NorthPaws have lost four straight games in West Coast League (WCL) competition and fall to 5-4 in the second half of the regular season. Their overall record in 2025 is 19-17. Kamloops is tied for fourth in the North Division in the second half and overall.

Eight teams qualify for the WCL postseason at the end of the regular season, four from the North and South Divisions respectively. Two postseason spots are reserved for teams with the highest winning percentage in the first and second halves of the season. The remaining two spots are filled by wildcard teams who had the highest overall winning percentage in the regular season but didn’t finish with the best records in the first or second halves.
