SALMON ARM, B.C. — The Columbia Shuswap Regional District has gone to the District of Coldstream to find its new chief financial officer (CFO).

The CSRD unveiled Jeremy Sundin as its new CFO. The chartered professional accountant spent four years as Coldstream’s director of finance.

In a news release issued Thursday (July 10), the CSRD says Sundin also served as CFO for the Okanagan Regional Library District and director of finance and deputy chief administrative officer (CAO) for the Village of Lumby as part of his 15 years of experience in the Okanagan.

“In this important role, Jeremy’s deep-rooted knowledge of local government, his leadership skills, and his solid background in municipal finance make him the ideal choice for CFO,” says John MacLean, CSRD CSO stated. “We are excited to welcome him to the CSRD and know the residents of the CSRD will be able to rely on his expertise to ensure that tax dollars are handled responsibly.”
