Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital emergency department closed Sunday

CLEARWATER — The emergency department at the Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital in Clearwater will be closed until 7:00 p.m. Sunday (July 13).

Interior Health announced the immediate closure of the ER in a statement released just after 8:00 a.m. Sunday.

It’s the fifth closure for the Clearwater ER this year, and the most recent was back on June 10.

Patients are advised to access emergency care at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops or 100 Mile House District General Hospital.
