KFR back at Strathcona Park for new landscape fire

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue is on-scene at Strathcona Park fighting a landscape fire.

The call came into KFR shortly before 4:00 p.m. with three trucks responding to the scene, including a bush truck.

The fire is in a similar location to a landscape fire in Strathcona Park reported on June 27.

Eyewitnesses at the scene told CFJC News, they believe they saw somebody intentionally light the fire, however that is not confirmed. RCMP were requested to attend by KFR.
