Vancouver Canucks sign defenceman Pierre-Olivier Joseph to one-year contract
VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks signed defenceman Pierre-Olivier Joseph to a one-year contract worth US$775,000 on Wednesday.
Joseph had three assists in 47 games split between the Pittsburgh Penguins and St. Louis Blues last season.
The six-foot-two, 185-pound blueliner played in parts of four seasons with the Penguins from 2020 to 2024 before signing with the Blues last off-season.
The Blues then traded the 26-year-old from Laval, Que., back to Pittsburgh last December for future considerations.
