Police carry out another drug-related seizure in Williams Lake
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — For the fourth time in June, a reported drug-related seizure was made in Williams Lake.
On Thursday (June 26), Williams Lake RCMP say the Cariboo-Chilcotin Crime Reduction Unit (CC-CRU) executed a search warrant at a home in Williams Lake after they were told of an adult woman, who was known to police, allegedly trafficking drugs.
Police say evidence consistent with drug trafficking was found and seized, and the suspect was arrested and released without process as the investigation continues.
A description and photo of the evidence, and the location of the home, were not provided in a news release issued Friday (June 27).
