KAMLOOPS — Kamloops has its newest homeowner.

The Kamloops Y held its 2025 Dream Home Lottery Wednesday (June 25) morning.

In a livestream video posted to social media, the winner of the modern home in Westsyde was unveiled as Shawnah Janicki of Kamloops. The 2025 Dream Home features three bedrooms, three bathrooms and more than 2,300 square feet of space. The house at 3562 Sage Dr. is net-zero ready, meaning it’s built to consume as little energy as possible.

Additionally, the winner of the 50/50 draw was unveiled as Dylan Goodwin of Creston. He’ll take home just under $400,000.

Money raised goes toward local YMCA programs for seniors, youth, child minding services, mental health and more.
