Blazers 2025-26 season includes pair of afternoon home games, battles with new division rival
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have unveiled their schedule for the 2025-26 Western Hockey League (WHL) season.
The Blazers will play 34 of their 68 regular season games at Sandman Centre, starting with their home opener on Saturday, Sept. 20 against the Spokane Chiefs. Puck drop is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. that evening.
Of the 34 home games, 26 will be played on Friday and Saturday nights, four will be on Wednesday nights, and two will be on Tuesday nights, and two will be played in the afternoon. All Saturday night games will start at 6:00 p.m., while all other games – except for the afternoon ones – will start at 7:00 p.m.
The first afternoon game will be Remembrance Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 2:00 p.m. against the Edmonton Oil Kings. The second will be the Blazers’ traditional B.C. Family Day game against the Victoria Royals on Monday, Feb. 16 at 2:00 p.m.
