KAMLOOPS — Police in Kamloops have released the identity of a man who recently succumbed to injures he suffered nearly a year ago, as they try to determine what led to his death.

In a statement Monday (June 23), RCMP say they believe Bradley Germann-Wilson was the victim of an assault. According to police, he was found with “obvious injuries” just before 7:00 a.m. on Aug. 30 at the intersection of Yellowhead Highway and Paul Lake Road.

They say while Germann-Wilson was taken to hospital, he “sadly did not recover, and died recently.”

“Based on the investigation so far, it is suspected that Bradley could have received his injuries hours before he was located,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier said.

“It’s unknown how long Bradley had been in Kamloops, but he is believed to have previously been in the Terrace area.”

Napier said the Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit is hoping that by releasing a name and photo, someone with information will be able to come forward to assist investigators.

“If anyone saw Bradley in the days leading up to him being discovered roadside, may know why he was in the area, or has any other information that may be related to this investigation, please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment,” Napier added.

The Kamloops RCMP Detachment can be reached at 250-828-3000, and the file in question is 2024-28673.
