Section of 4th Avenue in downtown Kamloops to be closed Monday for paving and utility work

KAMLOOPS — A heads up to drivers in downtown Kamloops as the City says there will be a detour in place Monday (June 23).
The City says 4th Avenue between Columbia Street and Battle Street will be fully closed to allow crews to work on paving and utility upgrades.
“Traffic will be redirected and detour signage will be in place,” the City said in a statement.
It also noted that transit buses – Routes 6 and 9 – that run along that section of 4th Avenue will be detoured via 6th Avenue.
