
Cavalry FC U21, Vancouver Rise Academy teams to play at 2025 Kamloops International Cup
KAMLOOPS — Organizers of the Kamloops International Cup have announced the first two teams that will play games against a pair of English teams in the Tournament Capital this summer.
Cavalry FC’s U21 team will return to Kamloops to play a game against the Nottingham Forest U21 team on July 28. The Calgary-based team beat Fulham’s U21 men’s team on penalties in last year’s inaugural edition of the tournament.
The Nottingham Forest men will also play games on July 31 (opponent TBD) and on Aug. 3 against Kamloops United.
The Vancouver Rise Academy team will make their tournament debut this year. They’ll be in Kamloops to play the Arsenal U21 women’s team on July 30. Arsenal will also play on July 27 (opponent TBD) and on Aug. 2 against Kamloops United.
