KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws lost their three-game road series to the Walla Walla Sweets 2-1.
After opening the series in Washington State with a 6-1 win on Tuesday (June 17) and suffering a walk-off loss of 5-4 on Wednesday, the NorthPaws were blown out by the Sweets 15-8 on Thursday.
It’s the third series loss for the NorthPaws, who fall to 10-8 on the 2025 West Coast League (WCL) season. They’re tied for third in the North Division with the Victoria HarbourCats and trail the Wenatchee AppleSox for first by 2.5 games.
The NorthPaws are back in Kamloops to welcome the HarbourCats for a three-game series. The first game is scheduled for Friday (June 20) at 6:35 p.m. from Norbrock Stadium, although a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect.
