Angove of Kamloops qualifies to compete at world swimming championships

KAMLOOPS — Sienna Angove of Kamloops has earned a spot on the projected Team Canada roster for the World Aquatics Championships, which are scheduled to run from July 11 to Aug. 3 in Singapore.
She posted a time of 1:59:07 in the 200-metre freestyle on the final day of competition at the Canadian Swimming Trials earlier this month in Victoria, good for a third-place finish and standing as a relay-only swimmer at worlds.
Angove competes at the post-secondary level for the NCAA Division One Ohio State Buckeyes.
