KAMLOOPS — A 27-year-old Kamloops man has been charged with sexual assault and police are asking the public for more information.

In late May, Kamloops RCMP say officers arrested Dorian Michael Ilett, who may also be known as Dorian Pentney, after police received allegations regarding him earlier that month. In a news release issued Friday (June 13), RCMP say Ilett has been charged with sexual assault, uttering threats and two counts of criminal harassment.

“Police believe there may be people in our community who have additional information which could assist in advancing the investigation,” Cpl. Dana Napier, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson said. “We are asking anyone who thinks they might know something to please contact the detachment as soon as possible.”

Illett remains in custody ahead of his next court appearance later in June.
