New wildfire spotted just outside of Cache Creek

CACHE CREEK, B.C. — UPDATE (8:45 p.m.): The fire size has been updated to 5.63 hectares.
BC Wildfire Service now says the fire was sparked by lightning.
EARLIER: BC Wildfire Service crews responded to a new wildfire start just east of Cache Creek Thursday afternoon (June 12).
The fire is burning on a hilltop in the Arrowstone Hills, just north of the Trans Canada Highway and is visible to motorists on the highway.
