NorthPaws take two of three against Kelowna Falcons
KAMLOOPS — There was no weekend sweep for the Kamloops NorthPaws, but they did take two of three games against the Kelowna Falcons in West Coast League baseball action.
The Falcons took Sunday’s matinee at Norbrock Stadium 9-3, for just their second win of the season. Kelowna used a four run fourth inning to pull ahead on the scoresheet, and solidified their lead with another three runs in the seventh.
The NorthPaws beat the Falcons 7-6 on Saturday night in Kelowna, and they also took the series opener 12-8 in Kamloops on Friday.
Kamloops native Matthew MacDonald hit the NorthPaws’ first – and so far only – home run of the season in the third inning of Saturday’s game.
