PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars have signed Kamloops native Cohen Baker to a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
The 15-year-old Baker was the Cougars first round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft, and he was taken 17th overall.
Baker tallied 24 goals and 64 points in 33 games for the Burnaby Winter Club U15 Prep team in the 2024/25 season. That was good for eighth in league scoring and tied for third in goals scored.
“Cohen Baker competes as hard as anyone in this draft class,” Cougars Director of Scouting, Bob Simmonds, said. “He’s a powerful skater with game-breaking ability. Simply put, he makes things happen.”
