Kamloops RCMP investigating after woman hit by vehicle at Summit and McGill
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say a woman suffered minor injuries after a hit and run crash at the intersection of Summit Drive and McGill Road on Monday last week (May 26).
In a news release issued Thursday (June 5), police say the woman, who was in her 20s, attempted to cross Summit Drive around 6:00 p.m. on May 26, when she was struck by a white car.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier says while the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the driver of the vehicle did not stay on scene.
“The Kamloops RCMP are hoping that by releasing a photo of the vehicle involved in the incident, that the public will be able to identify the registered owner of the vehicle and advance their investigation,” Napier said.
