KAMLOOPS — The trial has begun for a man accused of stabbing four people at a North Shore party days after the COVID-19 pandemic was declared.
Michael Wayne Palmer, who was 43 years old at the time of the incident, is facing one count of murder and three counts of attempted murder.
The charges stem from March 28, 2020, at a Carson Crescent apartment complex where a 59-year-old man died at the scene and three other people were injured. Palmer was arrested less than two hours after police were called. RCMP said they believed the suspect and the victims knew each other.
