Top pickleball players take part in Kamloops Open at Riverside Park

KAMLOOPS – The 2025 Kamloops Open Pickleball Tournament got underway Friday morning (May 30). The city welcomed close to 400 pickleballers from across North America to participate in one of Canada’s most anticipated pickleball tournaments.
Friday featured the women’s doubles and men’s singles matches. Saturday will be a full day for mixed doubles and Sunday will feature men’s doubles and women’s singles.
Players of all ages battled for top spot while spectators cheered them on. For the first time ever, the competition featured $5,000 in cash prizes for the winners of the top divisions.
