Identity of Valleyview motel shooting victim revealed one year after his murder

KAMLOOPS — The identity of a man who was shot dead in Valleyview last year has been revealed.
In a news release issued Friday (May 30), Kamloops RCMP say the body of Keenan James Robertson was found in one of the rooms of the Trans Canada Motel shortly after midnight on May 31, 2024.
“As the Kamloops RCMP Serious Crime Unit work persistently on this file, they are hopeful that by sharing the name of the victim they will be able to further the investigation,” Cpl. Dana Napier, Kamloops RCMP Detachment spokesperson stated.
