Soccer Quest’s Beckett Isaac selected to Vancouver Whitecaps Academy
KAMLOOPS — A 15-year-old Kamloopsian has been selected to join the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency Program.
In a statement, Soccer Quest says Beckett Isaac, who plays for their 2010 boys team, has taken a major step forward on the path to becoming a full-time professional soccer player.
“Beckett will be moving to the coast to live, train, and attend school under the guidance of the Whitecaps organization,” the statement said. “It’s a huge commitment, and a true testament to his dedication, talent, and the incredible support of his family.”
Isaac follows in the footsteps of Michael Asante, who made a similar move in June last year.
